The Role of the Board

Through research and thoughtful discussion, the board makes all decisions regarding grants awarded. The composition of our board is unique, two appointees from four major MN veteran-serving organizations are appointed or reappointed for 2 year terms giving the board a wide view of the veteran community.

Those organizations include:

• Minnesota American Legion

• Disabled American Veterans of Minnesota

• Military Order of the Purple Heart, Department of Minnesota

• Department of Minnesota Veterans of Foreign Wars.
